I am a conceptual painting, sculpture, installation, music and occasional video artist, taking inspiration from past personal experiences in combination with art, culture and music.

 

A recurrent theme in my practice is a curious urge to find balance between the organized and the chaotic, using as an example, the melting effect to represent chaos and change, while the cubes and grids representing order and stability.

 

The work can be viewed as a ‘snap shot’ of the process, going from one extreme to the other. It can also be seen as an attempt to break up the grid.

 

I am very interested in the viewer’s reaction and thoughts, when I believe art is universal.
